 Frequently Asked Questions

• My controls aren't working, pressing keys does nothing. How do I fix this?
  • Go to the main menu, then go to options. Make sure the controls are correct and you are pressing the assigned keys. Go back to the Main Menu, that should save any changes you might have made, if any. 

• The controls stop sometimes. How do I fix this?
  • You might have clicked outside the window or pressed tab, causing the game window to lose focus. Click on the game window and the game controls should be back.

• Can I use any gamepad or arcade stick with Toe II Toe?
  • Yes, you should be able to use any gamepad or arcade stick with the game, although it was tested and optimized for Playstation and XBox controllers. If you use a different controller, make sure to check if the keys are configured properly in the options setting. Different controllers have different mappings, so just configure it to your liking. Gamepads or arcade sticks that do not support vibrations will obviously not vibrate.

• There seems to be audio lag when using bluetooth speakers or headphones. How can I fix this?
  • That's common with bluetooth speakers and headphones. Unfortunately that's a hardware issue, and there's nothing I can do about it. I suggest you use corded headphones or speakers.

• It says this was made for a 20 second Game Jam. Did you really make this game in 20 seconds???
  • No, I wish.  It's not the game creation period, it's the target game duration. The 20s game jam is a laid back game jam where you make a game that lasts 20 seconds. That is why this game defaults to 20 second rounds, although you can now change the round duration in options. 

• Is the game really free?
